Take a trip down Memory Lane and rediscover the spirit of the Blitz with this hour long show of pure nostalgia – It’s the ultimate ENSA concert, featuring tributes to Max Miller, Vera Lynn, Laurel and Hardy, Flanagan and Allen, Charlie Chaplin, Anne Shelton, Max Wall, George Formby, and many more.
Join us and dress up in 1940’s costume!
Please Note. This is a Ticketed Event Only. Seating is unreserved and cabaret style with 6 seats to a table. Seats will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Keep your seat to continue celebrating VE Day with Jayne Darling. Bar open ’til 9:30pm
Meat & Potato Pie & Peas will be served 6:30pm – 7:30pm. Please note pie & peas can only pre-ordered online before the event. Please bring your Pie & Pea Voucher with you on the evening. Vegetarian option available

Join us after the Variety Show where the evening continues with more drinks from the bar and entertainment by professional, experienced & authentic performer, Jayne Darling, a well respected and established 1940s vocalist popular with the public and re-enactors.
Having performed at some of the biggest events across the UK and Europe she is known for her beautiful and passionate voice with a spirit that personifies the era. We look forward to welcoming Jayne to Dronfield to finish off our Saturday night of entertainment.

Please note: Entry to this event is £2 payable on the door. Standing / dancing room only unless you have purchased a ticket for the variety show, which will reserve your seat and table for an evening celebrating VE Day with Jayne Darling. Some seating may become available after the variety show but a seat cannot be guaranteed.

I am thrilled to be returning to Belgium to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Liberation of Boom. I will be performing in the Market Square on Saturday 7th September 2019 at 2 pm. 
Jayne Darling will be appearing in Thorne Market Place at Midday on Sunday 12th May 2019 followed by the Barge Inn at 2 pm
There is so much to see and do at the Thorne 1940’s weekend on 11-12 May 2019.
The Grand Parade will open the event starting at the Punchbowl at 10:30am on the 11th May. There will be vintage vehicles, stalls, top entertainment, Re-enactments providing live action displays.
Some of the Entertainers include:
Marina Mae, Madeline Brown, Cherie Lawrence, Yvonne Slater, Lottie Simone, Rum and Cola Girls, Don Gentile, Battlepipes, Paul Harper, Jayne Darling, Joe James Thomas.
This event is organised by an independent local group.
