The Farmland Museum and Denny Abbey 1940s weekend 2023

The 1940s weekend returns on Sunday 28th and Bank Holiday Monday 29th May 2023
Re-enactors covering the period will be on site for the whole of the two days, showcasing various aspects of life in the 1940s and during WWII.
The Farmland Museum volunteers will be showcasing artefacts from the 1940s.
The museum and Docky Box Cafe are open from 10am until 4pm each day.





Alford 1940s Weekend – August 13th / 14th
This event was one of the best on the calendar in 2021and this year will be even better! The event taking place in Alford, Lincolnshire on 13th and 14th August 2022 will feature:

Take a step back to the 1940s Britain with this popular two day event, which runs from 10am – 7.30pm (last admissions 6.00pm) on Sunday and 10am – 5.30pm on Monday (last admissions 4pm).
Super excited to be back at this amazing event. This year it’s over 4 days so you can have a great day out and also have time for Jubilee celebrations elsewhere if you wish!

Crowland 1940s Weekend – 25th / 26th June 2022

Jayne Darling will be appearing at the Farmland Museum, Waterbeach on 29 / 30 August 2021 as part of their World War 2 Reeenactment weekend.
10 am until 4 pm both days
Join us at the Farmland Museum for our World War II event weekend on Sunday 29th and Monday 30th August.
Experience life in the Second World War by weighing out rations in the shop, taking in our displays and watching our re-enactors.
With live wartime music throughout the day, it really will be a fun weekend out for all the family!
