Bit of a busy Easter weekend this one…Friday I was at Kingfisher Court in Sutton-in-Ashfield — always a nice one to do, and the residents and staff made me very welcome. Saturday was a private party then Sunday I was over at Nottingham Care Village for their Easter Fayre — loads going on and a really good turnout from relatives. They always make a huge effort for special occasions. Warm up night at @theearlofdoncaster The Earl of Doncaster Hotel Just over 50 of is arriving a night before the main shenanigans start - a great night punctuated by DJ Daz's 1940s Music Bingo... rumour has it it's still going on now....A hearty breakfast followed by watching an old movie in the Ballroom - this years movie of choice is Stormy Weather from 1943. Make up lady has arrived and hair is also in full swing courtesy of Karen Bebbington and @edelweissvintagehair . Looking forward to an entertaining afternoon with Sadie - Yorkshire Singer @sadie_yorkshiresinger and of course DJ Major Swing and Kitty. Tonight we have Swingamathing And we are just on Friday!
