Not long now to one of the biggest and best 1940s events in the UK – and it’s going to be a scorcher! As well as Bobby Dazzler my sister is also attending the event on the Saturday 🙂
Really excited about seeing good friends and working with some amazing entertainers old and new.
There is so much going on all weekend and guides can be brought from the festival.

Crowland 1940s Weekend

August 29 / 30 Farmland Museum

Farmland Museum 1940s WeekendsJayne Darling will be appearing at the Farmland Museum, Waterbeach on 29 / 30 August 2021 as part of their World War 2 Reeenactment weekend.

10 am until 4 pm both days

Join us at the Farmland Museum for our World War II event weekend on Sunday 29th and Monday 30th August.

Experience life in the Second World War by weighing out rations in the shop, taking in our displays and watching our re-enactors.

With live wartime music throughout the day, it really will be a fun weekend out for all the family!

LEYBURN 1940s has been rescheduled to July 31 2021

More information to follow but usually there is a singalong supper at Leyburn Arts and Community centre and a dabce at the school on the Saturday night with me and Major swing

Experience a military weekend (NB. Saturday and Monday only) including an M36 Jackson tank destroyer, Sherman tank, chaffee (and more to be released), Lancaster and Mosquito taxy runs, over 60 military vehicles, over 100 reencators, trade stands and warbird flying displays!!  Soak up the 1940’s atmosphere at this our biggest reenactment weekend in our events calendar.

You will be able to see two real firing tanks and a Lancaster back here at East Kirkby in conjuction with the Mid-Lincs MVT.
