🚗🚌📸 A rather lovely few days in my world…Tuesday was spent sorting out a replacement car for the twins with Mum and Dad, after some idiot decided to write their car off the previous week! Carys is now the very happy owner of a bright red KA 🚗 And, as you can see, she’s rather pleased with it! At least she’ll be easy to spot… Then Wednesday was a completely different sort of day.I headed off on a vintage vehicle photoshoot with a fabulous bunch of photographers, travelling in Bertie, a beautiful 1947 Barton Vintage Double Decker. Bertie originally worked in Nottinghamshire and has been fully restored to his original condition, including the fabulous period interior and original adverts. He seats 55 people and is available to hire for weddings and special occasions.We headed into Loughborough and stopped at a gorgeous thatched cottage, where the owner very kindly made us all a brew. Because obviously, a vintage photoshoot requires tea. It’s the law. We eventually ended up near East Bridgford before heading home after a brilliant day out.And then Wednesday evening… straight off to my friend Helen’s for dinner and a bit of hot tub time! The following morning we headed off to the spa where I had a facial and a massage. Honestly, Helen really is the bestest host in the whole world. She certainly knows how to look after a girl! Check out Thursday morning's breakfast....So there we have it… replacement cars, vintage buses, photography, thatched cottages, cups of tea, dinner, hot tubs, facials and massages.And somewhere amongst all that I’m still finding time to be me.
