ENSAS Memorial Appeal
An appeal fund has been set up to raise the funds to commission a memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas in Staffordshire to honour those men and women of the entertainment profession that kept the morale of the country high both at home and on the frontline during the Second World War as part of ENSA or Stars in Battledress and other organisations.
The aim is to have the memorial in place before the 80th anniversary of the end of the war but is dependent on the support of the public and the success of a programme of fund raising events in reaching the target of £90k.
