Well… I’ve had a rather busy few days! 😂Friday I was back at the AMAZING The Goodwood Revival for the FOURTH time, this time accompanied by my lovely friend Sally. I was working alongside the brilliant @The Memphis Bellesand @Ashlea Lauren/Evie Ivory 🖤🏳️‍🌈Ashlea Lauren, surrounded by vintage cars, fabulous outfits, music and a lot of hairspray!😂🎶💃Then Saturday morning I swapped the 1940s glamour for something slightly more… prehistoric. 🦖🤣I was a Dino Ranger with Chompers for Elliot’s 5th birthday, before heading straight off to Ashfield RUFC for Beryl’s 90th birthday, where we had a fantastic 1940s-themed afternoon. 🇬🇧🎶Sunday was a complete change again as I was running a UV Glow Rave for Bleu. 🪩💜✨And today I’ve gone back to my musical roots, singing 50s and 60s favourites for Karen’s 80th birthday. 🎤🎶So, in four days I’ve been…👗 Vintage performer at Goodwood🦖 Dino Ranger🇬🇧 1940s performer🪩 UV Glow Rave DJ🎤 50s & 60s performerI’m beginning to think I need to carry a suitcase around with me permanently. 😂I absolutely love the fact that my job can take me from Goodwood Revival one day to chasing dinosaurs the next, then onto a 1940s afternoon, a UV rave and an 80th birthday. 🎙️✨ 1940s NIGHT AT THE DOG & PARROT! ✨🎙️Dog & Parrot: Real Ale House Really pleased to say that I’ve been booked to perform at a 1940s Night at The Dog & Parrot in Eastwood on Saturday 17th October 2026! 🎶I’ll be stepping back in time with a selection of songs from the 1940s, bringing along the vintage microphone, outfits and plenty of wartime favourites. 🎤🎶It’s always a joy to perform this era of music, and I’m looking forward to an evening of singing, dancing and a good old-fashioned knees-up! Thursday was a proper two-gig day! 🎤🎶First stop was Red Rose Care Centre in Newark for a cabaret show, where I had a lovely time singing for the residents. Then it was straight off to the Defence Academy in Swindon for the Battle of Britain Dinner. 🇬🇧✈️Two very different events, but both equally enjoyable!One of the lovely surprises of the evening was seeing my friend Steve McTigue, aka Churchill Remembered, as Winston Churchill. 🇬🇧 What a brilliant way to bring a little bit of history to the occasion, and he certainly looked the part!The Battle of Britain Dinner was held to remember the bravery and sacrifice of the RAF pilots and crews who defended Britain during the Battle of Britain in 1940. 💗 What a fabulous afternoon for such an important cause! 💗On 27th August, my beautiful friend Helen hosted the most wonderful afternoon in her stunning secret garden, raising money for Breast Cancer Now Breast Cancer Now is the UK’s largest breast cancer research charity, funding vital research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, as well as providing support and information to people affected by the disease.And what better way to raise money than with 30+ fabulous friends, plenty of food, fun and a little bit of silliness!😂Helen is a former cook, so obviously the food was absolutely AMAZING! 😋 We were treated to a gorgeous spread, Pimms, music from the 50s, 60s and 70s, a raffle and guess the weight of the cake.There was plenty of laughing, chatting, eating and drinking — all whilst raising money for a cause that affects so many families.And the final total was...🎉 £420 RAISED FOR BREAST CANCER NOW! 🎉A huge thank you to everyone who came along, joined in, bought raffle tickets, guessed cake weights, drank Pimms and generally helped make it such a brilliant afternoon. Every pound raised will help support the vital work of Breast Cancer Now. 💗And Helen — you are the most amazing host!
