I have just returned from holiday in Scarborough and only just had the opportunity to thank you and Daz for giving me a fabulous 70th. I absolutely love your singing and so did many of the party attendees as they have commented on how good you were. I very often see you on you tube and really like the requiem to a soldier one. I will of course recommend you at every opportunity. Thanks to Daz too as he was a gem being so thoughtful and helping to get the food uncovered and get me cutting the cake – disco was good too.”
Just wanted to say another big thank you for yesterday. You were marvellous. Everyone was talking to us about you after you left asking where I’d found you etc. They thought you had a beautiful voice.
Take care and enjoy your upcoming holiday. “

Jayne Darling really encompassed the look of the 1940s with her vintage style, and her melodic voice transported the residents at both Scalby Close and Westbourne Court back in time. She consistently engaged with the residents throughout the show.
One resident at Westbourne Court said: “we had a great time at the event for Valentine’s Day. The 1940s look was fantastic and Jayne had a lovely voice. More events like this in the future, please!”

“We regularly feature performances by local Choirs and musical groups at Christmas, much to the great enjoyment of our Customers at Brookfields Garden Centre. It was a real pleasure to welcome Jayne Darling who performed for us one busy Saturday in December. A really friendly manner and willingness to sing those songs our customers would enjoy made having her with us a real pleasure. It is not often we receive feedback from customers but many commented how lovely it was to hear a fresh and lively performance of well loved songs; the choirs are wonderful but Jayne added another dimension to our festivities. Most importantly she has a terrific voice and we will be so very happy to welcome her back to Brookfields for any major events during the course of the year and certainly want her back for Christmas! I would recommend Jayneto any organisation or individual wanting entertainment of such a professional standard with a friendly enthusiastic approach.”

Jayne came in every morning for a week to sing well-known favourites from the 1940’s era with a modern twist. Our patients loved the entertainment and Jayne’s lovely approach to meeting people added to this. A huge thank you to Jayne, and if you have the chance to see her perform, do not miss out!
