You will be pleased to know that we also raised over £1400 at the Friday Supper! Thank you so much for the brilliant entertainment you provided at our Sing a Long Supper for the 100 year commemoration of the end of WW1 event in Newbold Verdon Church Hall. Over 100 people attended young and old and all agreed that you were a star. So many have asked us to have you back again. The songs you sang were entirely appropriate and your voice is beautiful. Many of us including myself became quite emotional. You were very flexible with your programme to fit in with us on the night and the way you entered into the spirit of the evening together with your lovely smile was infectious. Everyone is still talking about the evening and that you made it such a memorable occasion. All our best wishes to you and we hope that we can get together again in the future as you are truly TOP of OUR BILL!!” Newbold Verdon Church Hall Committee.

Jayne Darling really encompassed the look of the 1940s with her vintage style, and her melodic voice transported the residents at both Scalby Close and Westbourne Court back in time. She consistently engaged with the residents throughout the show.
One resident at Westbourne Court said: “we had a great time at the event for Valentine’s Day. The 1940s look was fantastic and Jayne had a lovely voice. More events like this in the future, please!”

“We regularly feature performances by local Choirs and musical groups at Christmas, much to the great enjoyment of our Customers at Brookfields Garden Centre. It was a real pleasure to welcome Jayne Darling who performed for us one busy Saturday in December. A really friendly manner and willingness to sing those songs our customers would enjoy made having her with us a real pleasure. It is not often we receive feedback from customers but many commented how lovely it was to hear a fresh and lively performance of well loved songs; the choirs are wonderful but Jayne added another dimension to our festivities. Most importantly she has a terrific voice and we will be so very happy to welcome her back to Brookfields for any major events during the course of the year and certainly want her back for Christmas! I would recommend Jayneto any organisation or individual wanting entertainment of such a professional standard with a friendly enthusiastic approach.”
